About the movie of Rajnikanth's LINGAA

Lingaa

The film opens in a village where Raja Lingeswaram (Rajinikanth) is native God. They respect him for his nobility and handwork. Soon, decides to build a dam, which will employ most of the villagers. But Lingeswaram is betrayed by the British government and is forced to leave the city.

The film progresses and leads us to the present, where young Lingaa (Rajinikanth) goes to the same village to take revenge and fight for the right of villagers are still being treated like animals. Will Lingaa success avenge his father and he will be able to give villagers their individual right? As director Ravikumar gives you the answers to these questions.
